FAQ

I understand you are writing about technology. Do you also consider other topics?

The fact is, there are certain topics we feel more comfortable working with. Our main focus is on technology (hardware, software, internet services, etc.), others are on media, entertainment, music and some obscure geeky stuff. If you like our style and want us to work on something completely different, please CONTACT US and we can discuss your ideas. We are open minded people.

Can you write or translate your material in other languages?

At the moment, Writing Bold offers copywriting services only in English and Italian. However, we have access to a wide network of professionals that can help with other languages such as Finnish, Swedish, German, French and others. CONTACT US to discuss the details and keep in mind that we need some reasonable warning to arrange a collaboration with other writers.

Where are you based and how can we interact?

We are based in Helsinki, Finland. For geographical reasons it’s easier for us to work with customers having an headquarter in Scandinavia or in other Nordic Countries. However, we can easily arrange video meetings and deal with clients outside this area making good use of Skype and other softwares. Deliverables are going to be digital in any case, so remote work really isn’t an issue.

Do you request a deposit for your services?

It depends. If it’s a long project or we never did any business together, we can agree on a small initial deposit. If we know each other already, nothing like that is needed.

Why do you even have an Express Fee?

Unfortunately, some clients tend to ask a job done for yesterday, even when they knew about their need well in advance. This forces us to work around the clock to deliver a copy in time for semi-impossible deadlines. We believe that the mere existence of an Express Fee will help both us and clients to schedule deliverables within a reasonable timeline. Then, if you desperately need something within few hours, you can well understand that rescheduling priorities involves some expenses on our side.

When are the bills due?

If not agreed otherwise, we expect a payment within 30 days from the completion of the job. Late payments will be charged with an extra 10% on the total. Ongoing projects will be put on hold if outstanding bills are repeatedly not payed. Unfortunately, the bills we have to pay don’t have flexible deadlines.

Can we pay you in something different than cash, like free tickets for Disneyland, booze or 'experience'?

No, as long as we cannot pay our bills with funny currency. We are professionals and we are sure you would’t try to buy a car with the same criteria.
